APPOINTMENTS

Do you offer bulk billing?
No. We are a private clinic.
*UPDATE* we now offer bulk billing for Telehealth Consulting whilst we are in the current pandemic. Please be advised, this does not include examinations, and you will be required to pay for any examinations required to treat or diagnose your problem.

Do I need a new referral?
If you have seen Prof. Havas at one of our three clinics, within the past 12 months, you do not need a new referral as referrals generally last up to 12 months. If this is for another issue, a new referral is great but not necessary. If you are a new patient, or have not seen Prof. Havas within 12 months, you will need to bring in a new referral. you can either email or fax it to us prior, or bring it with you on the day.

Do I need to pay on the day?
Yes. Consultations need to be paid in full before your departure.

What payment types do you accept?
All major cards and cash.

Do you accept private health funds for consultations?
We do not. However, we do request you bring in your medicare card so we can issue you a rebate.

How long are consultations?
We respect all patients needs, so we never rush consultations. Keeping in mind, you may need a hearing test during so this can extend your appointment time. In short, it is best to block out an hour of your time at least, so you, and Prof. don't feel rushed.

I don't have a referral, or medicare, can I still be seen?
Of course. The only difference is, our friendly staff won't be able to bill you through our medicare system.

Will I need any other tests or procedures on the day?
We can not say before hand wether or not you will have further tests or procedures on the day. Please discuss any issues with our front of house staff before your appointment.

Can you please explain which days you're in each clinic?
Bondi Junction | Wednesdays, Thursdays
Kogarah | Mondays, Fridays
North Sydney | Every second Tuesday

I had a follow up appointment booked, but now I can not come in due to COVID-19.
