Professor Havas is a senior consultant at Sydney Childrens Hospital having been on staff there since 1987.

He is an acknowledged expert in all aspects of paediatric otolaryngology with special expertise in the following:

• Airway obstruction
• Sleep & snoring difficulties
• Breathing problems
• Paediatric sinisitus
• Medical & surgical management of glue ear
• Management of hayfever & allergic rhinitis
• Voice and swallowing disorders in children
• Reflux in babies
• Tongue tie

Prof Havas operates on children of all ages from neo-nates through to adolescence. Paediatric cases are usually operated on at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital or Sydney Childrens Hospital.
