Balloon Sinuplasty

Balloon Sinuplasty has been used by only the top accredited surgeons in the US and UK for many years. This revolutionary technology has now been released to a selected few in Australia. Professor Havas is one of the first to undertake this new technique. It is suitable for cases of sinusitis where the drainpipes are blocked but not too much in the way of lining disease.

A small light cable is inserted into the sinus. The light illuminates through the patients skin, eliminating the need for further x-rays and incisions.
